Ehsaas Nashonuma Program Online

The Prime Minister visited the EHSAS registration
center and spoke to the beneficiaries at the special nutritious distribution
points. Dr. Saniya Nishtar SAPM Poverty Reduction and Social Protection briefed
the Prime Minister about the many services provided through the EhsaasNashonuma Programme. She is the director of an Android-based Ehsaas
Nashonuma App, which will allow electronic registration and tracking for
beneficiary women and children younger than 23 months.
This is one of the 33 centers of Ehsaas Nashonuma,
the new Ehsaas nutrition, and health conditional cash transfer program.
District Upper Dir is one of the 9 districts where this program is commencing
and this is one of the 6 centers in District Upper Dir.
Prime Minister Imran Khan PTI will today launch
Ehsaas Nashonuma, a new conditional cash transfer program aimed at addressing
stunting & malnutrition in children under 2 years of age across the
country. Ending malnutrition has long been a priority for the PM.
ABOUT EHSAAS PROGRAMME
Ehsaas is an umbrella initiative comprising more
than 130 programs and policies, all aimed at reducing poverty and promoting
financial inclusion in Pakistan. It is considered one of the most significant
programs in the history of the country that focuses mainly on the economic
empowerment of underprivileged women, widows, orphans, homeless, disabled,
laborers, and others belonging to lower-income backgrounds.
Prime Minister’s Ehsaas program aims to create a
welfare state by offering financial assistance in the form of cash grants,
educational scholarships, and other facilities to underprivileged citizens.
As per the official website for the program, 34
federal agencies and units are working towards implementing Ehsaas initiatives
across Pakistan.
The Ehsaas UndergraduateScholarship and Ehsaas Amdan Programme are also a part of this initiative.
