Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has
officially launched a first-of-its-kind program that aims to improve nutrition
and prevent the stunted growth of underprivileged children in the country. The
aptly named ‘Ehsaas Nashonuma Programme’ is a part of the government’s
widely-hailed Ehsaas initiative which focuses on providing financial relief to
those living in destitution.
The inaugural ceremony for this program took
place at the Ehsaas Nashonuma Centre established at Dogra Headquarter Hospital
in Khyber Tribal District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Accompanied by Special
Assistant on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation Sania Nishtar, the prime
minister visited various counters set up at the center, where he was briefed
about the initiative.
Though the Ehsaas Nashonuma Programme has only
been launched as a pilot project as of now, the government plans on
establishing over 30 centers across Pakistan to tackle the ongoing child
malnutrition crisis, as per the official press release.
Since we have already discussed the Ehsaas
Kafaalat and Emergency Cash Programme in great detail, we are now bringing
you a comprehensive guide on the Ehsaas Nashonuma Programme. However, before we
delve further into the initiative, here is a brief overview of the Ehsaas
Programme.
Ehsaas Nashonuma program 2022 registration
online has been started to tackle stunting and improve nutrition for the most
impoverished children and malnutrition in Pakistan. Ehsaas Program is
Pakistan’s top welfare initiative of the Government.
First Ehsaas Nashonuma center was established in
Tehsil JamPur, Rajanpur. PM Imran Khan will announce Ehsaas Nashonuma
centers throughout Pakistan in the future. Total 33 Nashonuma centers
